A BIT ABOUT CHRISTEL
With over 15 years’ experience across three cities, Christel has built her career across multiple disciplines, on a love of creating and working on ideas that matter – to consumers, communities and culture.
Most recently, Christel was Creative Director and Creative Partner for Global Business at DDB Hong Kong where she led a small agile team of creatives, created campaigns for multiple regional APAC brands, championed true diverse collaborations and constantly sought new ways to 'make things happen'.
Christel has judged at multiple shows including Cannes Lions, picked up numerous creative/effectiveness awards at major shows along the way – including winning a Grand Effie and still loves to run a good pitch.
When not caught up in the fast-paced nature of her work, she enjoys the simple pleasures of slow living. However, she hopes to make a comeback and finish off a 4th full marathon at some point.

Led the creative team that handled all regional brands within DDBHK, including Jardines, Carlyle and Co. and Mannings Own Brand.
Successfully won several new business pitches for brands such as livibank, Lindt, LANDMARK, Marriott-Bonvoy, Hotels.com Global Merchandising, Shangri-la and Parklane Hotel.
Led the team and ran integrated campaigns across APAC for brands such as Hotels.com, FWD Insurance.
Campaigns awarded at New York Festivals, Campaign Brief’s The Work, Madstars, Caples, Adfest, Effie Awards, Dragons of Asia, The Markies and Kam Fan Awards.
Completed The Phyllis Project, a global initiative that enables and encourages females to thrive in leadership roles.
Completed the Bernbach Leadership Program.
